Info - maternity, newborn & family - Portrayed Photography

Capture the beauty of these moments before they pass by.

When is the best time to do maternity photos?

The best time to do maternity photos is generally between 33-36 weeks.  We want you bump to be pronounced but not too late that you're feeling uncomfortable.

Where is the best place for a maternity photo session?

That all depends on what you want.  We can do photos on location (in the park or a location special to you) or at my home studio if you want something a little more intimate.

When is the best time to do newborn photos?

If you would like the tiny, sleepy baby poses, the best time to do the photos is between 4-10 days old.  They are quite sleepy at this stage and easily moved around into various poses.

Where do newborn photo sessions take place?

My home studio is ideal for newborn photo sessions.  I have plenty of space for you to sit back and relax while I photograph baby in my warm, cosy space where all my props and accessories are close at hand.  If you are unable to get out of your house, I can bring my travel studio to you for an additional £50.

When should I book my newborn session?

As these sessions tend to take longer and I don't like to limit our time together, please contact me a few months in advance so we can make a tentative booking.

Where is the best place for family photos?

I can do these on location or in my home studio.  If your little one is active, it's great fun for them to run around the park whilst I capture their personalities in a natural setting.

What should we wear?

I will discuss this during your consultation.

How much does it cost?
