Building a photo library to enhance the know, like and trust factor for Ruth
When I met Ruth, she was just launching her mastermind group, Success Club. As you might imagine with someone as switched on as Ruth, she was already getting her story out to her audience on social media but was in the midst of building her website and in need of professional photography to fill her social media channels, website, newsletters and for press.
After an initial discovery call full of business and personal questions on both sides, we both agreed that we were a good fit for each other. (Now that I’ve done Ruth’s Success Club, I would have celebrated that win with at least a double fist pump!)
As with all my brand clients, our journey started with a pre-shoot questionnaire. Ruth’s responses formed the starting point for the shot list and mood board I drafted in preparation for our collaborative concept and planning consultation.
By the time we reached shoot day, we were both fully prepared with a shot list that included the location for the shot, what Ruth was going to wear and any props that might be needed.
The day started with photos at Ruth’s home office and gorgeous house and then moved on to The Pantiles for some outdoor shots and the opportunity to photograph Ruth with one of her clients.
Throughout the half day, we did a mixture of shots for social media, website, profile photos and press photos that Ruth can use to tell her story, engage with her audience and build the know, like and trust to convert her audience into clients.
I thoroughly enjoyed photographing and spending the day with Ruth. In fact, so much that I’m now one of her clients and advocate. If you have a business, I highly recommend following Ruth and joining her newsletter which is full of valuable tips and advice to grow your business.
